NeuroWave - Complete Usage Guide

Last Updated: January 01, 2026

1. Introduction to Binaural Beats

Binaural beats are an auditory illusion created by playing two slightly different frequencies in each ear. Your brain perceives a third tone, which helps in shifting your brainwave state to focus, sleep, or relax.

2. Hardware Requirements

  • Use Stereo Headphones: You must use headphones or high-quality earbuds for binaural beats to work. Without them, the brain cannot process the frequency difference.

  • Left/Right Orientation: Ensure your headphones are worn correctly (Left in Left ear, Right in Right ear).

3. How to Listen Properly

  • Find a Quiet Space: Sit or lie down in a comfortable position where you won't be disturbed.

  • Volume Level: Keep the volume at a moderate, comfortable level. Listening at a very high volume is not necessary and can be distracting.

  • Duration: For best results, listen for at least 15 to 30 minutes daily. Consistency is the key to mental training.

4. Choosing the Right Frequency

NeuroWave offers different modes based on your needs:

  • Focus & Productivity: Use Beta or Gamma waves during work or study.

  • Meditation & Relaxation: Use Alpha waves for a calm and creative state.

  • Deep Sleep: Use Theta or Delta waves 30 minutes before bedtime.

5. Safety Precautions

  • Driving: Never listen to binaural beats while driving or operating heavy machinery.

  • Medical Conditions: If you have a history of seizures, epilepsy, or wear a pacemaker, please consult your doctor before using this app.

  • Focus: Do not use deep relaxation or sleep frequencies when you need to stay alert.
